What is WQC?
World Quantum Computer is an open-source project: instead of one giant machine owned by a few labs, we link idle PCs — gaming boxes, Apple Silicon Macs, spare data-center capacity — into a shared simulation network.
We do not own the computer. We are the computer.

FAQ
Is this as power-hungry as Bitcoin mining?
No. WQC only runs useful quantum simulation work (D-PoUW), not wasteful hash grinding — so electricity goes into real compute.
Do I need MetaMask or another crypto wallet?
Not on public testnet. Rewards sit on a simple off-chain Redis ledger managed by the network — no seed phrases required to start.
Can I keep using my PC for games or work?
Yes. Cap how much RAM/VRAM you lend in the miner settings so only spare capacity joins the swarm.
Can test $WQC be exchanged for mainnet $WQC?
No. Test $WQC is for experimentation only and has no monetary value.
